Le comité travaillera en collaboration avec la ville d’Ottawa afin de maintenir et améliorer nos parcs et programmes de récréation afin d’assurer leur accessibilité et une qualité de vie pour nos résidents / The committee will work in collaboration with the City of Ottawa to maintain and improve our Parks and Recreation Programs available to our residents to ensure quality of life and access.

Domaines d’activités/

Specific Areas of Responsibility

1. Maintenir la communication et partenariat établi avec la ville d’Ottawa et autres groupes œuvrant dans Vanier / Maintain communication and partnership with the City of Ottawa Program coordinators and other groups working in Vanier;

2. Assurer la conclusion du renouvellement du parc Émond / Monitor conclusion of the Emond Park rejuvenation project;

3. Travailler en collaboration avec nos jeunes, le centre Wabano et la ville d’Ottawa afin de construire un parc pour les planches roulantes pour notre communauté / work in collaboration with our youth, Wabano Centre and the city of Ottawa in establishing a skate board park for our community;

4. Visiter tous les parcs de Vanier afin d’analyser les déficits en verdure et structures en place. / Visit all parks of Vanier to assess for foliage and structure deficits; (Nov 13, 2011)

5. Continuer à faire pression auprès de la ville d’Ottawa afin d’améliorer l’aire de jeu au parc Richelieu suivant la proposition déjà soumise en mars 2011. / Continue to lobby the city of Ottawa for Richelieu Park improvement as per proposal submitted in Mars2011.
